Popular topics

Can I view journeys from a specific period?

Open Time Machine and click the box on the left to switch modes. We offer three modes: By Period (view a specific year, month, or day), As of (view everything from when you started using MemoLanes through a selected date), and Custom (choose your own date range), so you can revisit more of your journey memories.

Can I repair a track when poor signal leaves gaps?

Open an individual journey and use Edit to modify its information or add and remove track points. We offer Free mode for freehand drawing and Linked mode for automatically snapping track endpoints together, making editing easier.

Is the product finished?

The product is currently in an early testing stage and is only being used to test core functionality; it does not represent the final product. If you're interested in the app's development progress or have feedback or suggestions, feel free to join our QQ group or follow us on social media.

Is my data secure?

All your location data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app or clearing device storage will result in data loss. Go to Settings and select Export All Data to back up and store your data manually on a regular basis.

Can data be migrated between MemoLanes and other apps?

MemoLanes uses the open-source MLDX data format and supports importing and exporting common KML/GPX formats, as well as the Fog of World FWSS format, making it easy to migrate your data between different apps.

Can I change the map style?

Yes. Go to Settings and open Map settings to choose from map styles such as Standard and Satellite.

What should I do if background recording stops?

Make sure MemoLanes has the Allow all the time location permission and is allowed to run in the background. If recording still stops, follow the relevant settings for your Android phone brand, or contact the development team directly.
